Oksana Nazarova

Color is the area where our mind comes into contact with the universe.
Paul Klee

The artist's gaze has an amazing superpower – to arrange objects in space according to his own perception system, so that later he can use this special language to speak to his viewer.
Oksana Nazarova sees the whole world in two ways – form and color. Her everyday life instantly turns into geometric shapes, clothed in colorful emotions. It would seem that there are not so many of these forms, is it possible to fit the whole world into them? And how to be diverse in creativity, acting through such a system? Her painting confirms by the versatility of its themes that this is possible. Each work is not just a combination of a form lost in space, which is complemented by a moment of emotion through color. there is a sense in this, even the truth – the one that is in the artist's thoughts about issues of universal and everyday scale.
Good art today is like coaching – it helps you find the answers in yourself, rather than using alien solutions. Oksana's painting is stunningly in tune with this principle of modernity – it is impossible to get tired of her edification, but at the same time you can go into the depths of reflection with her, if you wish. The virtuosity of combining interior approaches in expressiveness with semantic layers that can be revealed gradually, carefully retreating into the depths of one's own consciousness.
Oksana admits that she often gets such incarnations in painting unconsciously, she catches the shape, comes into contact with it emotionally and color is born from it. But the result of this unconscious impulse is a well–planned improvisation in its essence. This is facilitated by the classical knowledge base and skills that the author has gained, as well as significant work experience – not just with painting, emotional self-awareness and the translation of these conceptions in form and color. Oksana Nazarova has worked a lot with painting in space, she has a well-formed sense of painting in the interior, when one complements the other, but at the same time does not lose its own expressiveness.
The expression of color seems to be primary in her work, it is color that engages us in dialogue, often boldly and even audaciously taking our attention away from everything else around. And here we are faced with a choice – to continue communicating only with the work or to go into the atmosphere of space. The great thing is that there is no mistake in this choice. Oksana's works are an inevitable encounter with her intimate world of feelings and emotions, it's just that this meeting can be postponed until you're ready, but it will continue to have its appeal and mannerism. Geometry in this interaction is a true complement, without it, these clear contours, it seems that everything will crumble into incomprehensible pieces, it even helps emotions to be within the framework, but not those that limit, but those that help to form the right one.
